Speech Therapy
Free Screenings
A free screening is provided to determine if a comprehensive evaluation or skill specific evaluation is needed. The free screening is informal. It consists of a questionnaire to pinpoint your specific concerns in the area of speech, language, fluency, social language, oral motor, and/or feeding.
Consultation
If you have had an evaluation done within the last 6 month we can consult to determine if services are needed. Informal measures can be performed to further probe if services are warranted.
Evaluations
Based on parent concern we will determine the evaluation needed. A holistic approach is taken in a comprehensive evaluation. Your child's speech (articulation, voice, and fluency), language (receptive and expressive), and oral motor skills are assessed. A play based evaluation is conducted to gather a full picture of various aspects of your child's language. Formal and informal assessments are completed. After your assessment a report is provided within 14 days.
Therapy Services
Therapy services are provided in your child’s natural environment (e.g. daycare, center, school, or home). All sessions are 50 minutes in length with the last 5-10 minutes to discuss the session and provide resources for carryover. Carryover can consist of but is not limited to homework, coaching, and/or strategies to provide optimum generalization. The frequency of sessions is determined based on your child's individualized needs.
Telehealth Services
Allow us to meet your needs from the comfort of your home. Our teletherapy services address speech, language, fluency, and feeding issues.
Parent Coaching
We would like to help facilitate parent involvement in your child’s early language development, social communication skills, and literacy development through teaching, coaching, and scaffolding so you can effectively apply the strategies given to your everyday interactions. Coaching sessions range between 30 to 50 minutes based specifically on your family needs.
